Hulu has entered into an agreement with Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution to gain the exclusive SVOD rights to a variety of American sitcoms from the 90s, including Family Matters, Full House and Step by Step.
The streaming service shared the news today at the Television Critics Association press tour, announcing Hulu will be the exclusive place in the U.S. to stream over 800 episodes from TGIF.
The deal encompasses every episode of Full House, Family Matters and Step by Step, as well as Perfect Strangers and Hangin' with Mr. Cooper. All five comedies will be available in their entirety for streaming on Hulu starting Friday, September 29.
The company also announced its drama series Harlots has been picked up for a second season, and revealed that a new documentary feature based on Barbie is on the way.
