The Predator Has a Character Connection to Predator 2

Actor Gary Busey's son Jake will play his offspring in The Predator.

Gary Busey starred in Predator 2, portraying special agent Peter Keyes in the sequel. And now, just like in real life, Jake Busey will play his son for The Predator, according to Slashfilm.

"[Director Shane Black] called me and he said, ‘Hey, you wanna do this movie? We don’t have money for you, but it’ll be a fun thing to come play and be your father’s son,' said Jake Busey on The Red Booth. "And so as much as I have followed in my dad's footsteps career-wise, this is like really following in his footsteps by playing a character who is the son of the character he played."

Now one character who won't return is Dutch. Arnold Schwarzenegger explained why he turned down The Predator earlier this year.

Along with Jake Busey, The Predator stars Boyd Holbrook, Keegan-Michael Key, Olivia Munn and Thomas Jane, among others. Black shared a first look of part of the new Predators cast back in February.
