X-Men: Every Upcoming Movie & TV Show

From Legion and Logan to Gambit and Dark Phoenix reborn, here's what the X-verse has in store for us.

X-Men: Apocalypse may have been met with a chilly reception from fans and critics, but the X-Men cinematic universe isn't letting that bump in the road derail its long-term plans for expanding its TV presence and adding to its already substantial movie catalogue - especially with both FX's Legion series and the upcoming Logan film already getting such great word of mouth!

The X-Men universe isn't exactly the smoothest franchise out there. First Class, essentially, rebooted the series by giving us a prequel that didn't quite line up, time-wise, with the original trilogy. It was a glitch that Days of Future Past awkwardly had to correct by more or less giving us a new timeline in the end - an under-the-rug sweep that worked to erase the first three movies and the X-Men Origins: Wolverine standalone (complete with Ryan Reynolds' muted Deadpool).

Now that the franchise has found better footing (okay, it's still not perfect) and is even in a place to, perhaps, re-tell some of the stories it originally fumbled, we're going to give you a roadmap for the X-movies and X-shows that are headed your way. From Logan to Deadpool 2, Gambit, New Mutants, and beyond, use the slideshow below to see what's coming in the XMU!

Obviously the plan for the X-Men universe isn't laid out quite as clearly as some of the other shared universes out there, particularly as most studios continue to play catch up to Marvel. That said, the X-Men benefit from a high level of recognizability thanks to a film series that started eight years before the first Iron Man was even released.

Which X-Men universe movies or shows are you most looking forward to? And which characters or titles do you want to see tackled in live-action next? Let's discuss in the comments!
