As part of a weighty new patch, Watch Dogs 2 just got an extended ending - and it may just be hinting at a setting for Watch Dogs 3.
The patch - which comes in at 10GB on console and 14GB on PC - adds new areas, emotes, clothing and the Carlton Dance from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
It's helping lay the groundwork for the game's upcoming season pass content - which, as Ubisoft points out, can be played entirely in co-op by someone who doesn't own the DLC (which is nice of them). But there's one extra addition that may be setting the scene for something beyond the season pass.
WATCH DOGS 2 ENDING SPOILERS AHEAD
Following the game's final mission, a new scene pops up in the form of a recorded conversation between two unnamed men (watch that below, the new scene begins at 2:16).
The title of that recording is where the interest really lies - "51.462014, -0.112504" are map coordinates for the Brixton area of London.
Previous information suggests Watch Dogs 2's DLC will be set in the game's San Francisco location, meaning this could be teasing an unannounced expansion, or perhaps mooting a London setting for Watch Dogs 3.
Ubisoft has teased future locations for its open world games in the Assassin's Creed franchise before, and Watch Dogs 2 has itself teased an entirely new Ubisoft game. Ubisoft has recently said that despite its initial low sales, it is happy with Watch Dogs 2's performance, and hinted at continuing with the franchise.
