The series takes place between the events of Tangled and the 2012 short film Tangled Ever After. It follows Rapunzel as "she acquaints herself with her parents, her kingdom of Corona and its people."
Mandy Moore and Zachary Levi will reprise their roles as Rapunzel and Eugene (aka Flynn Rider), respectively. Other cast members include Ashley Judd, Jeff Ross, Jeffrey Tambor, Paul F. Thompkins, and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje.
Tangled will also make an appearance in Kingdom Hearts III, as a world based on the Disney animated film was revealed for the game in 2015.
