Overwatch 'Interview' Seems to Tease Next Hero

Could an 11-year-old girl join the team-based shooter's roster?

Overwatch is apparently gearing up for a new roster addition, with Blizzard teasing an 11-year-old inventor in the process.

Efi Oladele is introduced on the Overwatch website. She has apparently received a grant from the Adawe Foundation for her "impressive achievements in robotics and artificial intelligence."

What's intriguing about the "interview" with Oladele is that Blizzard seems to hint that she or one of creations could become the next Overwatch hero. For instance, Oladele says that she's been building drones and other robots to help her for some time.

So it's easy to see a situation where Oladele is a character who has robotic assistants to aid her in battle.

Another possibility is that one of Oladele's creations comes to the team-based shooter. In fact, when asked about her plans for the grant, she responds: "Oh… I have an idea…"

Previously, the theory was that the much-rumored Doomfist would be the next character added to the game. But Overwatch game director Jeff Kaplan recently mentioned that Doomfist might not be the next hero after all.

While waiting for the official 24th hero reveal, you can check out some cool Overwatch figures from Toy Fair 2017 right now.
