Nioh: How to Get New Game Plus

There are a variety of special techniques you can use to make Nioh easier, along with extra content to enjoy that you might not know about.

Once you finish the standard game, you'll unlock a new mission called The Queen's Eyes, along with one of each Divine weapon. Clear that mission to unlock New Game+, which is titled "Way of the Strong." You can eventually revisit any region by selecting it from the menu, though at first you'll only be able to access the first three missions and side missions. Complete those first three missions and you will gain access to the remainder of the missions, which allows you to load up on XP and other loot (including Divine drops, at a higher rate than normal).

Once you complete the Deep in the Shadows mission, you can access the Finders, Keepers side mission. Play that mission repeatedly to quickly amass Amrita. You can also increase your yield by purchasing the Amrita Blessing at the shrine. During the 5 minutes or so that it typically takes to clear the quest, spend most of your time battling the Kappa (a Yokai with a glowing shell that you shouldn't have much trouble spotting). It offers the best rewards. Early in the game, repeatedly playing through the side mission is one of the best ways to quickly level up your character.
