Jar Jar Binks' Fate Revealed in Star Wars: Aftermath Novel

Spoiler alert!

Star Wars: Aftermath -- Empire's End, the third entry in Chuck Wendig's novel trilogy set after Return of the Jedi, reveals the fate of the clumsy Gungan outcast, Jar Jar Binks.

Warning: Star Wars: Aftermath -- Empire's End spoilers ahead.

According to Mashable, there's an interlude chapter in the book that takes place on Naboo, where we learn that Jar Jar Binks has become a street clown. A refugee boy named Mapo runs into Jar Jar while he's performing for some kids, and the Gungan explains the circumstances that led to his situation and why he isn't wanted.

When asked by the boy why no one speaks to him, he replies: "Jar Jar makin some uh-oh mistakens," adding, "Desa hisen Naboo tink I help the uh-oh Empire."

You can read the full interlude detailing Jar Jar's sad fate next week, when Star Wars: Aftermath -- Empire's End releases on February 21. In the meantime, read IGN's review of the first Aftermath novel, as well as our thoughts on the second installment, Life Debt.
