Hasbro is releasing the biggest Transformers Decepticon toy ever this fall, and IGN has your exclusive first look.
The Trypticon action figure, part of the Transformers Generations Titans Return line, will release this fall and cost $149.99. Set to be showcased at New York Toy Fair, IGN has a preview of the final figure's three modes, as well as a look at the Trypticon concept art and original modeling:
Trypticon can be transformed into three different modes — a Dino form, a Spaceship form, and a City form. In City mode, Trypticon can connect to other figures in the Titans Return Leader Class line to create Nemesis Command. In T-Rex mode, Trypticon can "eat" Titan Master figures , which can then be pulled out of the figure's stomach. Trypticon comes with a Deluxe Class Full-Tilt figure, as well as a Titan Master Decepticon Necro figure.
The Trypticon figure is both the largest Decepticon ever made, as well as the biggest figure in the Titans Return 2017 line. Trypticon was chosen by Transformers fans as the next figure in the Generations Titans Return line.
IGN previously took a look at some of Hasbro's newest Transformers toys at last year's San Diego Comic-Con.
