FX's acclaimed series Fargo will return on April 19.
Now filming in Canada, Fargo: Season 3, set in 2010, stars Ewan McGregor, alongside The Leftovers' Carrie Coon, 10 Cloverfield Lane's Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Harry Potter's David Thewlis.
McGregor will actually play two roles: "Parking Lot King of Minnesota" Emmit and his younger brother Ray. Their rivalry in Fargo will lead to "murder, mobsters and cut-throat competitive bridge," according to FX.
Coon will portray local police chief Gloria Burgle, a divorced mother who doesn't quite get why people are married to their smartphones. Meanwhile, Winstead will play Nikki, Ray's girlfriend, and Thewlis is a capitalist called V.M. Vargas.
Earlier this year, executive producer Warren Littlefield talked about how Fargo: Season 3 will connect to the show's previous seasons.
Fargo: Season 3 will premiere on FX at 10pm ET/PT on Wednesday, April 19. In the meantime, Fargo showrunner Noah Hawley's other current FX series, Legion, can be seen on Wednesday nights.
