Crunchyroll Users Can Now Link Their Accounts to VRV

Access premium Crunchyroll content on existing platforms and VRV without needing to pay twice.

Crunchyroll users are now the first to benefit from a new account linking feature introduced today by VRV.

Announced at E3 2016, VRV is a video service from Crunchyroll's parent company Ellation that brings several anime, gaming, and comedy channels like Funimation, Rooster Teeth, and Geek & Sundry together under one roof.

Linking your Crunchyroll account to VRV means you have access to all the same Crunchyroll Premium features, including ad-free and HD viewing, access to simulcasts, manga app access, and more, on both existing Crunchyroll platforms and VRV without paying for it twice.

With VRV, you'll also have free, ad-supported access to channels like Funimation and the ability to subscribe to individual ones of your choosing.

Head to VRV's official website for a step-by-step guide on linking your Crunchyroll acccount. VRV is working on introducing account linking for additional channels, but for now, Crunchyroll is the only service that can be linked. Learn more about VRV and Crunchyroll account linking in VRV's blog post.

In other anime news, Crunchyroll recently announced its own convention, which will take place in August at the Santa Clara Convention Center in California.
