Chuck and 24's Yvonne Strahovski Cast in The Predator

Strahovski will play Boyd Holbrook's ex-wife.

Shane Black is looking to cast Chuck and 24's Yvonne Strahovski in the upcoming The Predator reboot.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Strahovski is in final talks to join the film, and will play the mother of Jacob Tremblay's character, a troubled boy who gets dragged to the fight against the Predators thanks to his dad and Strahovski's ex-husband, portrayed by Boyd Holbrook.

Game of Thrones star Alfie Allen also recently joined The Predator and will play a former marine. The rest of the cast includes Sterling K. Brown, Keegan-Michael Key, Trevante Rhodes, Olivia Munn, and Thomas Jane. Shane Black is directing the reboot from a script by Fred Dekker. Production has begun in Vancouver and the film will open in theaters on February 9, 2018.

Black wants to bring back mystery to the Predator series, and has confirmed the new film will be rated R.
