Tons of Big Savings During Dell's Memorial Day Sale

If you buy something through this post, IGN may get a share of the sale. For more, read our Terms of Use.

To celebrate the upcoming three-day weekend and unofficial kick-off of the summer, Dell is throwing a sale and it's a good one. Not only are there discounts to be had, there are codes to apply, special savings on lines like the high-end XPS, and more.

In fact, Dell has one of the best deals I've ever seen on a high-end Alienware, and I feel as though Dell could have just stopped there, but that's not how Dell rolls. If you want some incredible deals on a new laptop, desktop, or other hardware, this is the an amazing time to pick something up. Use code 50OFF699 to instantly save $50 on qualifying computers and laptops above $699.

If you're having trouble using the coupons or seeing the savings: you might have to sign up for an account. It takes 5 seconds and it's easy to opt out of any emails Dell might offer.

Alienware Aurora i7-8700 CPU/GTX 1080Ti 11GB GPU for $1763.99

Aurora

Alienware Aurora i7-8700 CPU/GTX 1080Ti 11GB GPU for $1763.99

I feel like I could post this deal and call it a day. Seriously, it's that good. The price has bounced up and down a little bit, but mostly down, with the original $1849 deal down to $1812 as of this writing. Use the code 50OFF699 to knock another $50 off the price, and if you're active duty military or a veteran, or immediate family, you could qualify for an additional 15% off. Oh, also, it has free shipping.

Enough about the deal, here's what you get: Alienware Aurora with an Intel Core i7-8700 processor, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080Ti 11GB GDDR5X graphics card, 256GB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD (Boot) and 2TB 7200RPM SATA 6Gb/s (Storage), 16GB, 2666MHz, DDR4 RAM, an 850 watt(!!!) Alienware power supply, a year of premium support and the satisfaction that comes with knowing your PC is better than all your friends'.

Alienware gaming laptops are some of my favorite laptops of all time. They have a really high quality feel about them, they're excellent performers, and the displays are outstanding. For $50 more, you can select a G-Sync enabled screen, which I personally recommend, but I also recommend you do you. This laptop sports an overclocked GTX 1060 and an Intel Core i7-8750H with 16GB DDR4 RAM. Plus it has a 256GB SSD boot drive and a full 1TB HDD for all your games.

Inspiron 15 7000 with 1050Ti 4GB Upgrade for $799

The regular version of this very good entry-level gaming laptop costs $799, but when you select this version, which upgrades the graphics card from a vanilla 1050 2GB to a superior 1050Ti 4GB, and then apply the code, it's the same price. Why wouldn't you go big? It also has an Intel Core i5-7300HQ so it will definitely meet your portable gaming needs.

XPS 8930 Tower i5-8400 CPU/GTX 1080 8GB GPU for $1124.99

XPS 8930 Tower i5-8400 CPU/GTX 1080 8GB GPU for $1124.99

The Intel Core i5 series is plenty enough processor to make this a VR-ready gaming machine. The GTX 1080 is the icing on the cake. Given the ridiculous prices on high-end GPUs this is a downright bargain.

XPS 8930 Tower i7-8700 CPU/GTX 1050Ti 4GB GPU for $989.99

XPS

XPS Tower i7-8700 CPU/GTX 1050Ti 4GB GPU for $989.99

If you want to trade CPU power for GPU power over the previous configuration, this is a great buy. The 1050Ti 4GB is extremely capable and will have no problem running modern games, and it shreds older games, too. This is a solid gaming set up, especially for less than a grand.

Alienware Aurora i5-8400 CPU/GTX 1080 8GB GPU for $1249.99

ddalienware
Alienware Aurora Intel Core i5-8400 6-Core GeForce GTX 1080 Gaming Desktop with 16GB RAM and 2TB HDD for $1249.99

This is a killer config at a killer price for an Alienware. It's extremely similar to the XPS up there, but the XPS definitely lacks space technology. I have a 1080 in my personal PC and I love it so much. I can never go back now. I play PUBG at high settings in 1440p and get 100+ fps and it doesn't even sweat it. Grab your own by following the directions below:

  • Select Video Card - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 with 8GB (+$200)
  • Proceed to checkout
  • Final price is $1249.99

Even More Chances to Save on Dell With Dell Outlet

Dell Outlet is currently offering up to 17% off Dell Outlet configs. Usually the compromise with refurbished items is the shorter (or lack of) warranty, but not with Dell Outlet. Dell Outlet PCs have the same 1-year warranty.
