Your Name Coming to Home Video This Year

Releasing just a few months after its launch in Japan.

Your Name will release on home video later this year, Funimation announced today an Anime Expo.

The popular anime film from director Makoto Shinkai will be released by Funimation on home video just a few months after it launches in Japan, and will include the "final" version of the movie, which has edits to the theatrical release that were made under the director's guidance.

Standard Editions, including a DVD-only option and a Blu-ray/DVD combo pack, will be available, as well as a Special Edition that includes the Blu-ray and DVD, as well as exclusive artwork and materials from the Japanese release. Funimation will provide further details about the home release of Your Name at a later date.

In addition, Funimation announced it has licensed the anime series Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans for home video release in 2017.

In partnership with Sunrise, Funimation will release Standard Editions of the first season in two separate parts. A Special Limited Edition will also be available. This version includes both parts of Season 1, as well as a metallic gloss injection variant of the "High Grade 1/144 Scale Gundam Barbatos + Smoothbore Gun" Gunpla model kit, which is exclusive to this release.
