Marvel Themed-Lands, Rides Coming to Three Disney Parks

New rides featuring Iron Man, Ant-Man, and more.

Disney will open new Marvel rides and lands in three Disney Parks.

As detailed on the Disney Parks website, California's Disneyland Resort, Disneyland Paris, and Hong Kong Disneyland will be getting new attractions featuring beloved Marvel superheroes, such as Iron Man, Ant-Man, Spider-Man, and more.

At Disneyland Resort, the new Super Hero-themed land will open in 2020 and it'll include attractions with Spider-Man and the Avengers. The land will be anchored by the Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! ride that opened in 2017. It will be located in the adjacent space currently occupied by A Bug’s Land.

Over at Walt Disney Studios Park in Paris, a new Marvel-themed area will also open in 2020. One attraction will have people team up with Iron Man and their favorite Avengers on a "hyper-kinetic adventure." Disneyland Paris will also host Marvel Summer of Super Heroes from June 10 to September 3, which launches this summer. It's a live-action super-production featuring Marvel heroes, special effects, and projections.

Finally, Disney is working on multi-year expansion plans at Hong Kong Disneyland, which includes a new themed area. It'll feature an attraction where guests team up with Ant-Man and The Wasp, and it'll join the Iron Man Experience, which opened in 2017.

In related news, Walt Disney World is getting the 11-acre Toy Story land this summer. Also be sure to find out more about the Star Wars-themed lands coming to Walt Disney World and Disneyland.
