Exclusive New Fortnite Founders Pack Skins Confirmed, No Release Date Yet

Save the World in style.

An Epic Games employee has confirmed that Founders Pack players will be getting exclusive new skins, but a release date has yet to be confirmed.

Twitch streamer Ninja was joined by folks from Epic, who confirmed players who bought the Founders Pack would be getting exclusive skins. "We're going to do something along those lines very soon actually," they said, when talking about the skins, but said there was no confirmed date just yet.

Epic Games' community coordinator, JustMooney1, also popped into a Reddit thread asking whether players who bought the Founders Pack would be getting further exclusives, in addition to the Founder’s Glider and Founder’s Umbrella that were billed as “the first of many rewards" for Fortnite founders.

JustMooney1 confirmed there were more exclusive items on the way, saying, "we have some stuff coming ;)".

Fortnite Intel has rummaged around in the game files and it looks like the Rose Team Leader and Warpaint skins will be the Founder exclusive skins, along with the Skirmish and Pursuit back bling.

Ninja was recently joined by Drake on one of his Fortnite streams, smashing Twitch's streaming record for most concurrent viewers. It was confirmed it wasn't a sponsored gimmick, Drake just really wanted to play with Ninja.

Meanwhile, Fortnite's Blitz Mode goes live today, with "faster & more intense matches" limited to 15 minutes. Blitz Mode was included in patch V3.3, which added remote explosives and supply llamas. If you're looking for llamas in Battle Royale, we can help you out with that.

The title has recently been released for mobile, with cross play enabled between the smartphone, PC, and console versions. Cross play functionality between PlayStation 4 and Xbox One isn't looking likely, despite Xbox boss Phil Spencer seemingly on board with the idea.
