You won't have to wait as long to see Marvel Studios' Avengers: Infinity War in theaters.
Marvel announced on Twitter the third Avengers film will now be released on April 27 as opposed to its original planned May 4 release date. Marvel Studios made the announcement via a Twitter exchange with Iron Man star Robert Downey, Jr and a new poster highlighting the date.
Marvel Studios first tweeted out about the film debuting on May 4, when Downey, Jr. chimed in asking to see it earlier. Marvel Studios accommodated him — and the many fans hoping to see the film as soon as possible.
That release date is a week after the Dwayne "The Orck" Johnson-starring Rampage adaptation. It also further separates Infinity War's release from other big May tentpole films, which include Deadpool 2 and Solo: A Star Wars Story.
