The DualShock 4 Line-up Gets Two New Colours

The metallic fan favourite makes a comeback in March

Sony has announced the addition of two new DualShock 4 colours - Midnight Blue, and Steel Black - to its controller line-up.

The news was shared on both the US and EU PlayStation blogs. Midnight Blue is a brand new addition to the range, while Steel Black is making a return after its initial run in 2016 alongside the Crystal version.

This time, Steel Black has had a slight redesign and now features a tweaked touchpad to bring it in line with the most recent iterations of the DualShock 4, and offers direct USB as well as wireless control options.

The Special Edition DualShock 4 controllers will launch on March 7 in Europe. The US release is pegged for March too, although an exact date hasn't been mentioned.

Pre-orders are open now and you can pick one up across retailers in US and Canada for $64.99 USD/ $74.99 CAD. For the moment it looks like players in Europe are unable to pre-order.
