Xbox Adds Custom Gamer Pics, Co-Streaming and More

Update rolls out later today.

Microsoft has announced a number of new features that arrive today in this month's update for Xbox One users.

As detailed on Xbox Wire, custom gamer pics, as well as club profile pics and backgrounds can be uploaded from your console or through the Xbox App. Additionally, up to three people can co-stream from their console using Microsoft's recently rebranded streaming service, Mixer.

Arena has also been updated so that Xbox One players can now create user-generated tournaments for Killer Instinct on their console.

The update also allows you to instantly sign-in to your console with a single press of the Xbox button on your controller.

Additionally, the Xbox App for iOS and Android has been updated to add Game Pass Browsing and LFG Sharing support. An updated language/location setting, as well as Android-exclusive feature that supports Messaging Chat Bubbles have also been added.

Microsoft's latest version of Xbox One hardware releases this November for $499 USD. Check out this overview of Xbox One X's specs and features, and then watch the video below to see our discussion about the console's impressive developer benchmarks.
