The Best Cheats and Secrets in the Crash Trilogy

This page contains all the best Cheats and Secrets found in the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy.

You can play as Coco Bandicoot, Crash's younger sister, once you beat the first five missions and the first boss of the first two games (Papu Papu and Ripper Roo). She's available at the beginning of Warped, but cannot take part in levels designed specifically for Crash (boss battles, vehicle missions, etc). Likewise, it seems that Crash cannot be substituted for Coco in mission in Warped designed for her.

Unfortunately the Password cheats for the original Crash Bandicoot have been removed for the N Sane Trilogy, as has the Naughty Dog debug menu. Click the link above to see all the cheats for the original Crash Bandicoot!

After you smash all the boxes in each mission, return to the Great Hall level and hop onto the floating gemstone. Follow it to your right to reveal the fate of all the bosses you defeated!

For reaching 100% completion, you can unlock a bonus cutscene that provides an alternate ending to the story.

In the warp room, you can find a small polar bear. Jump on his head and bounce to earn up to 10 extra lives. You'll receive a trophy as well for jumping on the bear.

Some levels have hidden paths that let you skip to later levels or reach hidden areas.

• Bear Down & Air Crash

Run through the level Bear Down as normal, until right after the bear kicks you off at the end. Jump back across the platforms, and when you touch the larger platform, you will then transport to a secret area in found within Air Crash.

• Diggin' It & Road to Ruin

In Diggin' It, proceed through the level until you see a seed-spitting plant on a round platform. Belly-flop on the plant and you'll be warped to the secret warp room. From here you can access a secret area in Road to Ruin.

• Air Crah & Snow Go

During Air Crash, get to the place with the boxes in the water. Instead of taking the vehicle, jump across the water on th boxes to reach a platform on the side. Once you reach it, you will be taken you to a hidden area in Snow Go!

You can unlock a fireworks display in the warp room once you earn at least 30 Gold Relics. After unlocking the relics, speak with Coco in the Warp Room to begin the show.

Beat the game with 30 Saphire Relics (or better) and with all Crystals and Gems collected, you can see what is considered the True Ending of Crash 3. Note that you just need 30 Relics total, not specific amounts of certain sets.

Some levels have hidden paths that let you skip to later levels or reach hidden areas.

• Eggipus Rex

To get to the hidden level Eggipus Rex, go into the level Dino Might! and take the Yellow Gem Path to the secret area (must have the Yellow Gem in order to do so). While you're being chased by the dinosaur, let the second pterodactyl you see while running pick you up. You won't lose a life, but instead you'll be carried off to the secret level Eggipus Rex.

In the level Road Crash, look to the left side of the screen while you are driving in the race. You will notice be a yellow sign with an alien head on it near a diner. Drive into that sign and you will be automatically warped to the hidden level Hot Coco.
