Nintendo is releasing remastered Wii games including Super Mario Galaxy and The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess in 1080p for the Nvidia Shield in China.
Industry insider ZhugeEX tweeted the news earlier today, revealing that Nvidia’s Android powered Shield Tablet would be releasing in China complete with a small batch of remastered Wii Classics.
As well as the aforementioned Mario Galaxy and The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, the Shield will also get 1080p remasters of Punch Out!! And New Super Mario Brothers Wii.
Nvidia Shield is coming to Mainland China.
Will be priced at RMB 1499.

Although this is absolutely not confirmation that these titles will be coming to the Nintendo Switch in HD, it hasn’t stopped the internet rumour mill from speculating (and hoping) that these ports could one day come to Nintendo’s own portable console.
