Black Friday is behind us and Cyber Monday is a fading memory. But Amazon still has plenty of deals to dole out ahead of the holiday season. Right now, it's running a buy one, get one half off promotion on a bunch of cool LEGO sets.
We're not talking your basic 100-piece sets, either. Not that there's anything wrong with those. But some of the eligible sets include the extremely awesome LEGO Star Wars First Order TIE Fighter set, for example.
Check out the link above to see a full list of what's eligible, but here are a few highlights:
First Order Special Forces TIE Fighter
There are 533 pieces, including 4 minifigs, in this awesome LEGO Star Wars set. And hey, with The Last Jedi right around the corner, this will be extremely timely to assemble.
----------------------------
LEGO City Volcano Supply Helicopter
The LEGO City series are pretty excellent sets, with an enormous amount of variety. It doesn't make a lot of sense for a city to be close to a volcano, but sadly no one from Pompeii is left to warn us about Mount Vesuvius. Only their bones remain.
----------------------------
DC Comics Super Heroes Batman: Killer Croc Sewer Smash
This set is loaded with awesome. You get to assemble three different vehicles, there are 4 DC minifigs and a Killer Croc big minifig. You could basically make up your own Suicide Squad movie scene and if you step barefoot on one of the pieces it's still a better time than the actual movie.
----------------------------
DC Super Hero Girls Batgirl Secret Bunker
Why should Batman get all the crime-stopping fun? This Batgirl set from LEGO's DC Super Hero Girls series includes a zip line for zipping. It also has two figures and a ton of cool accessories for Batgirl to get her swole on.
----------------------------
Marvel Super Heroes Guardians of the Galaxy 2 The Milano vs. The Abilisk
The Guardians movies are arguably some of the best movies Marvel has put out, and you can relive the excitement at a much tinier, but none-the-less exciting scale. And look at that tiny Baby Groot minifig. Worth it for that alone.
----------------------------
Those are just a few of the sets elegibile for the promotion. The sale ends December 9, so if you're looking to grab a few kits and save a few bucks, you only have a few days to do so. There are plenty of other Super Heroes, Star Wars and more, so you can mix and match or build toward some massive cross-dimensional battle.
Seth Macy should have bought that Millennium Falcon set from a few years ago when he had the chance. Follow him on Twitter @sethmacy.
