The Last Jedi: Details on Poe Dameron's X-Wing Revealed

The X-Wing's getting a boost.

We have a few more details on Poe Dameron's new vehicle of choice for the movie, a souped-up X-Wing known as "Black One", which has been modified by the Resistance.

Empire has also offered us our first look at the ship with an exclusive reveal:

Empire also reveals further information from Last Jedi director Rian Johnson; namely that the additional equipment fixed to the rear of the X-Wing is a temporary accelerator pod; in a pinch, this can provide a temporary burst of speed to evade enemy ships, although it will burn out if used for too long.

Empire's October issue is available from Thursday, September 7, and The Last Jedi releases worldwide on Friday, December 15.
