Josh Gad is currently doing what any of Star Wars fan would do if they were filming a movie with Daisy Ridley: continually tricking her into "work conversations" that result in him trying to get her to reveal The Last Jedi spoilers.
The context: Star Wars star Daisy Ridley and Frozen voice actor Josh Gad are currently filming a Kenneth Branagh-directed adaptation of Agatha Christie's Murder on the Orient Express. Gad is a huge fan of Star Wars and once publicly begged J.J. Abrams to cast him in The Force Awakens, so after Disney revealed Star Wars: Episode VIII is titled "The Last Jedi," Gad used his close proximity to Ridley to his advantage.
Watch the below Instagram video for his first attempt to find out what the heck we should read into "The Last Jedi":
OK, so that got about as far as you'd expect, but the fun doesn't stop there.
A week later, Gad posted another video interrogation of Ridley, and this time he took a different approach. Clearly it's "Kenneth Branagh" who's desperate for answers, not Gad (and the rest of us).
Here's Gad's attempt #2 to get Ridley to give away big spoilers from The Last Jedi:
Daisy Ridley: 2, Josh Gad: 0. Here's looking forward to attempt #3.
While Gad keeps trying to get answers about Star Wars: The Last Jedi, we're busy asking similar questions. Here's our take on who we think "The Last Jedi" might be referring to, as well as whether there's any major significance to the movie's red logo. And though Ridley might be staying mum on Star Wars reveals, Mark Hamill recently gave his take on Episode VIII's intriguing title.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi hits theaters on December 15th, 2017, while Murder on the Orient Express is due out on November 22, 2017.
