Plus, Samoa Joe arrives on RAW, Nia Jax dominates Sasha, Bobby Roode knocks off Nakamura, Roman Reigns ruins things, and more.
It's probably not the right time to panic, and I'm hope I'm blowing this way out of proportion, but WHAT THE HELLLLLLLLLL?
On RAW, Seth Rollins injured the same right knee where he previously tore his ACL -- the hurty boo boo that kept him out of action for, like, eight months -- and he's now set to be evaluated by doctors at the end of this week. How bad is it? Could he miss WrestleMania? Man, this is the absolute pits. He already missed the Rumble, for storyline purposes, and now he may miss out on 'Mania for the second year in a row. Seth Freakin' Rollins, I tell ya.
Now, we can all wonder how much of this is a work since WWE.com is covering the injury and providing updates, but they report on real injuries all the time now so it's hard to say how much of this is legit and how much is playing into Seth's feud with Hunter. The safest bet is to just assume it's a little bit of both and that everyone involved is just waiting to see what the doctors say.
All of this just works to throw gravel in the eyes of an already murky WrestleMania picture. Aside from Goldberg vs. Lesnar, which is pretty much already set (wouldn't it be hilarious if Goldberg said "No" next week?), Seth vs Triple H was the only other real safe bet for the card. Everything else is up in the air because there are still TWO PPVs between now and April - with one less than two weeks away. Spoilerz warningz, next week I'll probably complain, in more depth, about how there are too many damn PPVs. There were rumors that the WWE would scale down a bit in 2017, but that sure isn't happening yet.
The big news before the knee news broke was that Samoa Joe debuted on RAW. Many wanted him in the Rumble, and hoped he'd walk out as #30, but we got a different, lesser Samoan in his place. Something you can read about in my Royal Rumble Live Blog or this here Best and Worst Moments from the Royal Rumble piece. So much disappointment. So rich. So thick. The sadness is like stew.

I'm not diving into the Rumble here as I already wrote oodles about it, but how are we with Orton now standing as the WWE Champ challenger? What do we want from Elimination Chamber? This one's coming up quick. There's only one more SmackDown before the event and that doesn't leave a lot of room for twists and turns. They're pretty much playing it straight right now. We've got the six participants and... that's it. The other matches -- Nikki vs. Natalya, Alexa vs. Naomi, the Tag Team Turmoil thing -- don't feel all that special. It's all about that world belt. Will Bray take the title and then face Randy or are we set for the return of Cena vs. Orton?
Something else to consider - would they take the title off Cena after just two weeks? I'd be more comfortable with four. Meaning, I'd buy that. But only two? That seems really short for Cena. He literally would have just won the belt so that he could be a 16-time world champ. Oh, and to end his feud with AJ on top, like he do. I'm not ruling a Cena loss out, because I would be goddamn OVER THE MOON if Bray finally won a singles title (much less the WWE Championship), but it just seems quick.
