The Kerbal Space Program team is now a part of Valve.
As a guest on the Game Dev Unchained podcast, ex-Valve employee Roger Lundeen mentioned that his former company hired the Kerbal Space Program team around five or six months ago.
PC Games Network then clarified the comments with Lundeen and Valve. A company representative said: "Yes, they joined a little while ago, and we will have more news about what they are doing soon."
Kerbal Space Program is a space flight simulation game that's been available for years on PC and came to consoles last year. For more on the game, check out IGN's Kerbal Space Program review for the PS4 edition.
However, don't see the hiring as an example that Valve is curious about console development. Company founder Gabe Newell recently stated that Valve isn't interested in developing for consoles right now.
