Game of Thrones Alum Joins Godzilla: King of the Monsters


Plot details about the sequel are still under wraps.

Game of Thrones alum Charles Dance has joined the cast of Godzilla: King of the Monsters.

Deadline reports that Dance will join the Godzilla sequel, but not much is known about his role as details about the film's plot are still under wraps. Sally Hawkins has also joined the cast and is, along with Ken Watanabe, only one of two returning stars from the 2014 reboot where she portrayed Dr. Vivienne Graham.

Millie Bobby Brown (Stranger Things), Kyle Chandler (Bloodline), Vera Farmiga (Bates Motel), Aisha Hinds (Underground), and O’Shea Jackson Jr. (Straight Outta Compton) will also star. Godzilla: King of the Monsters will serve as Brown's film debut.

Michael Doughetry (Krampus) will be directing from a script he co-wrote with Krampus writing partner Zach Shields. Godzilla: King of the Monsters will open in theaters on March 22, 2019.
