Aquaman Director Reveals New Photo of Mera

"First day with the exquisite Amber Heard."

As filming for Aquaman continues, director James Wan has taken to social media to reveal a new photo of Amber Heard as Mera.

Wan shared the photo, which was shot by photographer Jasin Boland, in a post on Twitter, saying, "Lady Mera swept in from the sea. First day with the exquisite Amber Heard." See it below:

Last year, Wan shed light on the "hate-turned-love" dynamic between Heard's Mera and Jason Momoa's Aquaman, saying he wants the movie to have a "classic action-adventure-romance aspect." While the two are "not quite clicking with each other" at the beginning of the film, Wan said Aquaman and Mera will grow closer to each other over the course of the movie.
