The Last Guardian has only been out for a couple of months, but it's already had its price slashed by 33 percent in the US.
According to Polygon, Sony has confirmed a permanent price cut down to $40 from $60 on the PlayStation Store.
The game has also been cheap to buy in the UK for a good chunk of time. It's currently £30 on the UK PlayStation Store, and £27 on Amazon. However Sony has given no word on whether the price cut is permanent in the UK as well as the US.
Sony has just revealed a record number of PlayStation 4 consoles shipped for the quarter, however its profits are down.
The Last Guardian finally released in December of 2016 after a decade long wait. IGN's review says it's "a beautiful, melancholy game filled with the highest highs, and the lowest lows."
