FFXV's Controversial Chapter 13 Getting Updated in March

PS4 Pro update coming in February.

An update for Chapter 13 of Final Fantasy XV will release on March 28, Square Enix has announced.

During its latest Active Time Report (via Gematsu), Square said the update will feature improvements to the later portions of the game, including the controversial thirteenth chapter, which takes the campaign in a more linear direction. Additionally, players will be able to assume the role of Gladiolus for a brief period of time.

Alongside this update, Final Fantasy XV's first piece of character-focused DLC, dubbed Episode Gladio, will also release on March 28. The second episode, focused on Prompto, will be out sometime in June.

Before that time, on February 21, the game is getting several other enhancements, including PS4 Pro support to allow for up to 60 frames-per-second play. Limited time quests, as well as a level cap raise to 120 and photo capacity bump to 200 will featured, too. You'll also finally be able to use the music player when riding a Chocobo.

Earlier this week, Square also announced that Final Fantasy XV players will be able to outfit their heroes in Power Rangers-style Magitek Exosuits on February 21. Take a look at the snazzy outfits here.
