Nintendo has revealed how Switch owners are utilizing the hybrid system.
At Nintendo's recent financial briefing, the company showed that around half of Switch owners use the console in both modes: TV and handheld. But what might be surprising is that more people play the system mainly undocked than hooked up to the big screen.
"We can clearly see that consumers are playing to suit their own play styles," said Nintendo president Tatsumi Kimishima.
Nintendo has sold over 7 million Switch systems so far. And Super Mario Odyssey has already surpassed 2 million copies sold, according to the company's estimates.
Kimishima believes Super Mario Odyssey will be a big driver of Switch hardware sales this holiday season.
