There are 12 Stone Circles to complete around Egypt. Finding and solving them all will unlock the Stargazer Achievement/Trophy and complete the first step towards obtaining the legendary Isu Armor from the first civilization as well as the side quest Bayek's Promise.
Stone Circles require you to match a given star pattern with one sitting in the night sky. Align the stars by rotating the shape and moving the camera so that you recognize the constellation.
There are two in-world maps that you can find to indicate the location of each of the Stone Circles, not including the one that you can purchase in the e-shop.
One is next to the Stone Circle in Siwa, crudely marked with sticks and sand, and the other isin the underbelly of The Great Sphinx in Giza.Spoiler - Click to see/hide
The Stone Circle in Siwa is likely to be the first one you encounter. It can be found directly to the south-west of the House of Life temple on the southern end of Siwa Village.
The simple hook-shaped constellation is located to the lower left of the stargazing camera's starting location. You shouldn't need to rotate the stars, but if you get turned around set it so that they look somewhat like a "J" shape to.
Find this circle atop the rocky hills on the western side of the road cutting through the border of Saqqara Nome and the Isolated Desert, leading down towards Karanis.
From the starting position, move the camera slightly downwards then over to the right to find the pattern. Rotate the stars slightly rightwards to make a match.
This circle can be found among the dunes of Iment Nome, south of the fields at the bottom of Lake Mareotis.
From the starting camera position, move up and to the left past two other constellations and rotate the stars ever so slightly to the right to match the pattern in the sky.
In the very north-west corner of the Isolated Desert, you'll find some scaffolding leading up into an abandoned camp in the rock formations. Move up through the camp and onto the overlook facing east to find the circle. You can also just climb the cliffs below the overlook, if that's your thing.
From the starting camera position, move to the other side of Serqet (the scorpion constellation directly left of where you start), then up a bit. Rotate the stars left until they align.
This circle can be found along the eastern bank of the large isle in Ka-Khem Nome, roughly centered between its north and south ends.
The camera starts almost directly on top of Serqet - move up and to the left to find this pattern above the back of the Divine Lion.
In the northern section of Uab Nome, find this circle atop a rocky outcropping directly next to the northern Fast Travel point in the region.
To find the patter, tilt the camera upwards a bit, then rotate to the left and pass three other constellations. Flip the stars upside-down to align them with the pattern above the Goat Fish.
This circle can be found in a patch of scattered trees in the north-west side of the Qattara Depression.
To align the stars, flip them upside down, then move the camera down a bit and float left past two other sets of stars. If you've already completed Apis, this constellation is directly to its left.
Follow the shore of Faiyum around the lake all the way to the east. You'll find this circle half-sunken into the marsh, surrounded by thick reeds.
The constellation can be found directly to the right of Amun - you'll need to rotate the stars a bit to the right to make them align.
This circle can be found in the desert due east of the Temple of Sekhmet in Lake Mareotis.
The constellation can be found by moving the camera to the right and slightly down. Nudge the stars counter-clockwise to set them in place.
In the north-western area of Faiyum, find this circle on the shore near the road.
Taweret's constellation is located above and to the left of the Goat Fish. Starting at the Divine Tiger (the camera start) rotate the stars counter-clockwise roughly a half-turn, then move them upwards and begin moving left until your find their match.
This circle can be found on the western shore of the northern lake in the White Desert Oasis. Be cautious when approaching from the road - bandits lurk nearby.
To find the star pattern, rotate the stars a quarter-turn clockwise, then move them to the right. Pass a few constellations to find their match sitting to the bottom-right of the Divine Lion and above Apis.
Across from the south-west tip of Haueris Nome, a small inlet in Uab hides this stone circle.
From the starting position, flip the pattern over and move it to the left, passing several other constellations until you reach a match, above Serqet and to the left of Hathor.
