First Look at Supergirl's Season 3 Villain, Reign

Odette Annable plays the DC villain.

The CW has released the first look at Supergirl Season 3's main villain, Reign.

The image (below) shows Reign, played by Odette Annable, in her black costume. This costume worn by Annable is different than the one Reign wears in the comic book iteration. The character will appear later on in season 3.

The finale of Supergirl: Season 2 introduced a mystery character, which IGN  suspected was an early tease that Reign would be Season 3's main villain.

Reign is a genetically engineered super-soldier, known as a Worldkiller, who was created by a group of Kryptonian scientists. The character was introduced as one of Supergirl's first enemies in DC's New 52 comics line.
