Attack on Titan: Season 3 Premiere Details Announced

Debuting July 2018.

The third season of Attack on Titan will premiere in July 2018.

The release details were announced this weekend at the Attack on Titan Reading & Live Event Orchestra performance, Crunchyroll reports. Season 3 was announced earlier this year, and, at Anime Expo 2017, was tentatively scheduled for a spring 2018 debut.

New art for Attack on Titan's third season was also revealed, which you can check out below, courtesy of the anime's Japanese Twitter account.

Prior to the Season 3's debut, a compilation movie of Attack on Titan: Season 2 will be released in Japan. The film, dubbed The Roar of Awakening, will debut on January 13, 2018.

The second season Wit Studio's popular anime series spanned just 12 episodes, less than half the the first season's 25-episode count. Read IGN's "Scream" review to find out what we thought of the Season 2 finale.
