The Sims 4 will be released for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on November 17, EA announced today.
The confirmation follows recent Sims 4 rumors that the game would be heading to Xbox One sometime this year. The console versions will feature most of the DLC that was released for the PC version of the game.
According to EA, console "fans can also look forward to periodic game updates and extra content releases." Those who preorder the standard edition of The Sims 4 will receive the Perfect Patio Stuff pack, which includes "tons of bonus décor for your outdoor oasis."
Additionally, you can preorder the Deluxe Party Edition, which features the Stuff Pack as well as the Life of the Party, Up all Night, and Awesome Animal Hats DLC. You'll also receive the full game three days early on November 14.
The standard edition costs $49.99 while the Deluxe Party Edition will run you $59.99.
EA Access subscribers on Xbox One will also be able to sample the game a week early starting on November 9.
IGN reviewed The Sims 4 when it initially released on PC nearly three years ago. The game recently received the update to include toddlers in January this year.
