The sequel to Jurassic World, officially titled Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, has wrapped filming.
Director J.A. Bayona shared the news in a post on Twitter, saying, "This is a wrap for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom! What a journey! Thank you to everyone that made it possible."
Additionally, the film's producer, Frank Marshall, offered his congratulations to the team on Twitter, posting the following image and saying, "Last group of animatronic dinos ready for the final day of shooting, congrats to all on wrapping FALLEN KINGDOM!"
Both Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard will return for the sequel, which, according to executive producer and screenwriter Colin Trevorrow, will be "be more suspenseful and scary." The movie will serve as the second installment in a new trilogy and feature an appearance by Jeff Goldblum's Dr. Ian Malcolm.
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom will be released on June 22, 2018.
