HBO Confirms No Existing Characters in GoT Spinoff

Sadly, no Jon Snow: Nothing Knower.

Today at the Television Critics Association press tour, HBO president Casey Bloys was asked to clarify that none of the Game of Thrones spinoff shows that are being considered include characters from the current show.

"That is correct," Bloys sated. So even if a character is lucky enough to survive all eight seasons of Game of Thrones there will be no further adventures with them - or prequels, for that matter.
