While there are still gamers who stick rigidly to a single game console or platform, these days gaming is a much broader space than it has ever been before. On any given day you could be playing on your desktop, on a console in front of the TV, at a gaming tournament or on the train with a mobile device.

And with so many ways and places to play, it can be hard to find a single gaming headset that can keep up with you, which is why many gamers feel the need to own multiple headsets and headphones to cover every gaming scenario.

But with Logitech G's new G433 gaming headset, you’d be ready for action regardless of the platform you're playing on and wherever you are, thanks to its smart design inspired by sports performance brands and the in-depth research on what gamers wanted from a headset.

The G433 is designed to be extremely lightweight and supremely comfortable to wear for hours on end, with amazing audio quality and, crucially, the ability to work with PC, consoles and mobile devices. With four distinct colors to choose from — Royal Blue, Triple Black, Camo Blue and Fire Red — along with a hydrophobic stain-resistant finish, it'll designed to keep its looks even after months of non-stop punishment.

Traditionally, over-ear style headphones come with leatherette earpads which makes them look good at first but quickly makes them become sweaty, sticky and uncomfortable. That’s why the G433 comes with one set of breathable sports mesh earpads and a second set of microfiber earpads. Both are easy to remove for cleaning, so pick whichever material is the most comfortable for you.

The headset also sports a boom mic with Logitech G's own micro pop filter, designed to give you ultra-clear voice chat without an unsightly foam ball getting in your way. Still, you don't want to look like Ground Control on the train. That’s why the boom mic is easily removable and can be replaced by the G433's 3.5mm mobile cable. The mobile cable has its own inline microphone for calls and VOIP, so you can leave it packed on public transportation.

But even with all of these improvements to fit and finish, the G433 promises the most breakthroughs in sound. It’s designed to utilize Logitech G's patent-pending Pro G audio drivers, made with cutting-edge hybrid mesh materials. It’s built to deliver crystal-clear sound across the entire audio range with minimal distortion, whether you're wired for analog or connected to the USB soundcard/DAC. And to provide that extra bit of punch, the G433 features a hidden acoustic port built to give you incredible-sounding mids and lows.

And this headset was built to sound great in more than just stereo; it delivers 7.1 surround reproduction. The G433 uses a USB digital soundcard (included) to give you DTS Headphone:X 7.1 sound, so not only do you hear the direction the enemies are coming from but -- thanks to positional audio -- you can also tell how far away they are, hopefully giving you that extra competitive edge when you really need it.

If you love getting exact, you can even fine-tune the G433's sound using Logitech Gaming Software. This software lets you create custom profiles for each game, ensuring everything from the perfect audio levels on start, to setting each channel mixer to the game’s surround sound just how you like. But if you’re not into tinkering or would rather trust a professional, Logitech G is even working with developer partners to create official profiles. There's already a custom Pro-G EQ profile for EA’s Battlefield 1, created by DICE's audio engineers to faithfully mimic their own studio environment.

The G433 is built to deliver all the comfort and performance you need, no matter what you're playing and where you're playing it. But if all its high-end features feel just a little rich for you, there's another alternative in the form of the Logitech G233 Prodigy gaming headset. It shares several of the G433's best features, including sports mesh earpads (in striking Cyan Blue), Pro G audio drivers, the removable boom mic with its micro pop filters, as well as support for PC, consoles and mobile devices.

Both the G433 and G233 headsets are available to buy from Logitech G now, with free delivery. Go here to learn more.
