There are a few accessories that you might want to think about purchasing beforehand so that they can be delivered before your Note 8.
Galaxy Note 8 Case from $10Don't scratch up your phone on day 1. Many of these cases sell for under $20 and offer scratch resistance, drop protection, and peace of mind.

128GB-256GB Micro SD CardNowadays many phones give you NO option of Micro SD expansion. The Note 9 is so generous in this respect, you might as well make the most out of it. Why not max out your phone's storage from the get go.

It Doesn't Hurt to Pick Up More USB Type-C Chargers And/or CablesThe Note 8 comes packaged with one USB Type-C Cable and one USB Fast Charge Power Adapter. If you don't ever lose them (and that's a big IF), it's still a pain to have to remember to bring these with you wherever you go. In addition to the few I have at home, I carry a separate charger and cable in my bag and leave a set in my car.
If you had an older phone that also used USB Type-C, you can also use that for the Note 8. Chances are however that your old phone used Micro USB. In that case you can either buy new cables or get a USB to USB Type-C adapter.

A Power Bank Can Double, Triple, or Quadruple Your Battery LifeIn my opinion power banks are better than those "battery pack cases" that can attach to your iPhone. These don't add bulk to your iPhone, offer greater capacity batteries, and most importantly, can be used to charge all of your USB powered devices, not just your iPhone.
The smaller the battery capacity of the power bank, the smaller the size. "Lipstick" powerbanks can fit in your pocket but are generally no more than 6,000mAh in capacity. Brick-shaped power banks, however, can carry up to 30,000mAh of juice at a slight expense to size.

Samsung Wireless Charging Pad with 2A Wall Charger for $15I have one of these and it charges my Galaxy S6 pretty well even through my slim case. If you have a super bulky case, you might need to take it off, but this applies to induction charging in general.
