Heroes of the Storm is about to get another influx of Overwatch content, with Ana and Junkrat making their way into the game alongside a new battleground called Voskaya Foundry, which is based on Overwatch’s Volskaya Industries map.
Ana will unsurprisingly be a ranged support hero, while Junkrat will be a ranged assassin, but not much else has been revealed about them yet.
The Volskaya Foundry map has three lanes, each with a capture point (similar to ones in Overwatch) that provides the team that captures it with a giant pilotable mech robot called a Triglav Protector. Volskaya also has conveyor belt floors around its capture points that can push players around.
The Triglav Protector requires two players to pilot it, with one controlling its movement and the other operating a gun to deal damage, similar to Cho’Gall. A new Brawl will launch with Volskaya that will give both teams a Protector at all times so players can try them out.
Along with the new brawl, an Overwatch-themed event called ‘Pachimari Mania!’ will begin. If a players capture enough pachimaris before their matches start, they will unlock cosmetic rewards for their account.
Ana and Volskaya are expected to hit the PTR next week, with Junkrat coming further down the line.
