Sony has just concluded its Tokyo Game Show 2017 PlayStation press conference. From new game reveals and VR experiences to the release date for Monster Hunter World, there was no shortage of exciting news for PlayStation fans.

Perhaps the biggest news of the entire event was the reveal of a new game from Square Enix called Left Alive. The title is being directed by Armored Core director Toshifumi Nabeshima and features character designs by Metal Gear character designer Yoji Shinkawa.
A teaser showcasing the game's futuristic setting was shown during the press conference. Left Alive will be released for PlayStation 4 sometime in 2018.
Capcom had some exciting news for Monster Hunter fans during the conference. Not only did the publisher announce that Monster Hunter World will be released worldwide on January 26, 2018, Capcom also pulled back the curtain on several special editions, preorder bonuses and a special Monster Hunter-themed PlayStation 4 Pro console.
A digital deluxe edition, featuring a bonus armor set, emote, emblems and hairstyle, will be available, as well as a physical collector's edition, which includes a copy of the game, soundtrack CD, figure and art book. Those who preorder the game will get the "Origin Series" armor and a Wind Charm item, with preorders set to open on September 20.
New footage of Sony's upcoming Shadow of the Colossus remake for PlayStation 4 was also shown during the conference.

Final Fantasy fans were treated with multiple announcements, including the news that Final Fantasy IX will be released for PlayStation 4 today.
The beloved role-playing classic made its debut on the original PlayStation back in 2000 and made its way to PlayStation 3 and PSP a decade later via PSN. Just last year, the title was released for mobile and PC.
Sony's conference also brought with it the news that Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner will be remastered for PS4, complete with full VR support. The title will be released as Anubis: Zone of the Enders - Mars in spring 2018 in Japan.
The upcoming remaster will feature 4K support, updated sound design and "brand new features" that have yet to be detailed.

In addition to announcing Final Fantasy IX for PlayStation 4, Square Enix revealed that Noctis will be featured in Dissidia Final Fantasy NT.
The Final Fantasy XV protagonist joins a vast array of characters from other entires in Square's beloved role-playing franchise, including Cloud from Final Fantasy VII, Lightning from Final Fantasy XIII and many more.
After it was leaked earlier this month, Dragon's Crown Pro was officially revealed for PlayStation 4 during Sony's TGS press conference. This enhanced version of the 2013 action-RPG will feature 4K support, and will be released in Japan on January 25.

A new virtual reality experience called Japan Studio VR Music Festival was also revealed.
The upcoming PSVR experience, which features various Sony Japan Studio franchises, including Toro and Gravity Rush, will be released in Japan on September 20.
Finally, a virtual reality experience for the cat collecting sim Neko Atsume was was announced for PlayStation VR. While details are scarce, the experience will be released for PSVR in 2018 and developer Hit Point is involved in the project. Check out the logo below:
