The latest edition to the Fast and Furious series has surpassed the $1 billion milestone at the global box office after a very successful opening month.
The Fate of the Furious has hit the $1 billion mark over the weekend, bringing its total to about $1.06 billion. According to Box Office Mojo, this makes Fate the 21st highest-grossing movie of all time worldwide, unadjusted for inflation, surpassing 2016's biggest film, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
