Square Enix has announced RPG Project Prelude Rune, along with the formation of a new studio.
The new studio, named Studio Istolia, is helmed by Hideo Baba, who brings some 18-plus years of experience to the table. Baba is perhaps best known as the driving force behind Square Enix’s ‘Tales of’ series.
According to Siliconera, the focus of Studio Istolia is to create new IP as well as further existing Square Enix franchises.
Baba serves as the producer of Project Prelude Rune, and hopes to create a new type of RPG fantasy, one which spans vast landscapes filled to the brim with a plethora of life. More information about the RPG will be revealed at a later date.
