For several years now, Bandai Hobby has been producing some fantastic Star Wars model kits, but the most ambitious one to date is hands-down the Perfect Grade 1:72 scale Millennium Falcon that was on display at New York Comic-Con.
Much like a Gundam model, the kit is entirely snap-together and the pieces come molded in their appropriate colors, so no paint or glue is necessary to construct the iconic freighter.
Of course, that won't look quite as good as the professionally painted Falcon that's in the photos, and you're on your own if you want your very own Docking Bay 94 to park the Falcon in. That's clearly an intricate custom job.
This was also the first time the kit was available for purchase in the United States, with the hefty sum of $400 for convention attendees. If you're familiar with Bandai's line of Perfect Grade model kits, this shouldn't be too much of a shock, though.
If you're looking for something a little cheaper and less daunting, Bandai has a whole fleet of other Star Wars model kits that are getting released in the states, and they're quite a lot of fun to put together. Check those out right here.
We've got lots more coverage from New York Comic-Con, check out Hasbro's new action figures from The Last Jedi and this amazing Obi-Wan action figure from Sideshow Collectibles.
