Square Enix has announced a new game called Antique Carnevale.
While's there's currently very little information about the project, an official website is live with a story outline and a trailer for one of the game's characters, Bernard. Check it out below:
Additional trailers for four more characters will release on July 7, July 10, July 12 and July 14, respectively.
The story description (translation via Gematsu) is strange and cryptic, but it appears to explore the difference between "dolls" and "people" and what separates "things" from "living things." The description goes on to discuss a labyrinth which traps explorers, and a boy visiting the labyrinth and understanding the desires of the dolls captured within it.
Further details will be shared on July 18. In the meantime, read up on the big announcements that Square Enix is teasing for Final Fantasy XV fans at Gamescom in August.
