I recently chatted with Spider-Man: Homecoming producers Kevin Feige and Amy Pascal about the Marvel-Sony movie, during which time we spoke on the record about some of the biggest moments and spoilers in the movie.
Donald Glover plays criminal Aaron Davis in the movie. In the Marvel comics, Davis's alter ego is the Prowler, who is also the uncle of the second Spider-Man, Miles Morales. In the movie, Davis does mention having a nephew so I asked Feige if there was a real chance of fans seeing Miles on the big screen in the future.
Although the producers touted Miles as being the protagonist of Sony's upcoming animated Spider-Man movie, Feige was less certain about a live-action appearance by Miles in the MCU: "Just like we referenced Dr. Stephen Strange in The Winter Soldier, we wanted to give that homage that he's out there in the MCU somewhere. If and when we see him, I don't know."
