New Marvel VR Game Announced for Oculus Rift at D23

Hulk smash!

The world of Marvel is coming to Oculus Rift with Marvel Powers United VR, a new game from developer Sanzaru.

The game was revealed during D23, and features co-op battles with up to three other people. Oculus Studios promises "more than a dozen playable characters" from the Marvel Comics universe, including Rocket Raccoon, Hulk, and Captain Marvel.

Marvel Powers United VR isn't coming out until 2018, but playable demos are scheduled for San Diego Comic Con next week at the Marvel booth.

D23 has been insane this year, with huge reveals coming one right after another, including a Guardians reveal in the Avengers: Infinity War trailer.

D23 runs through the rest of the weekend. More information about the game can be found on its official website as it becomes available.
