Fable Fortune Release Date Delayed

The collectible card game will now release on July 25.

Fable Fortune, the collectible card game set in the Fable universe, has been delayed to July 25.

The Fable spinoff was previously scheduled to come to PC in Early Access and Xbox One in Xbox Game Preview on July 11. But, due to "an administration hiccup," developers Mediatonic and Flaming Fowl Studios aren't able to launch the Xbox One version of the game next week.

As such, in order to release the PC and Xbox One versions simultaneously and make the most of cross-play between the two platforms, Fable Fortune's launch has been pushed back a few weeks.

A Kickstarter for Fable Fortune, which started as a secret project following the closure of Lionhead Studios, launched last year. The Kickstarter campaign quickly ended when additional funding was secured to help make the title a reality.

Fable Fortune is free to play and features both player versus player and cooperative game play and six heroes to choose from, each with a special set of powers.
