Will Smith and Power Rangers' Naomi Scott are among the stars.
During the D23 Expo, Disney announced the cast for its upcoming live-action remake of Aladdin.
Mena Massoud will play Aladdin in the film, while Power Rangers' Naomi Scott will play Jasmine. Disney also confirmed that Will Smith will play Genie. Guy Ritchie is confirmed to direct.
The inspiration for the film will be both the animated Disney hit, as well as the classic collection of stories One Thousand and One Nights.
Scott's casting was rumored earlier this week, at which time reports also said Disney was struggling to cast the title role. Will Smith had previously been in talks to play Genie after reports had suggested he may also be involved in Tim Burton's upcoming Dumbo film.
