Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Has Characters Designed by Tetsuya Nomura


The director of Kingdom Hearts III has had a lot on his plate.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 will feature multiple characters designed by Tetsuya Nomura.

At the end of the new Xenoblade Chronicles 2 trailer that was released last week at E3, Nomura—who is currently directing both Kingdom Hearts III and Final Fantasy VII Remake—is credited at the end for character designs for "Ira" (or "Torna" in English).

While "Torna" was initially believed to be the name of a single character, the official Japanese Twitter account for Xenoblade Chronicles 2 (translation courtesy of Siliconera), clarified that "Torna" is actually the name of an organization of the game.

As such, Nomura is actually designing multiple characters for Switch-exclusive RPG, one of which you can see pictured above, and another below:
